You canโ€™t pay rent with carbon wheels ๐Ÿ“‰๐Ÿšฒ

Itโ€™s December. "Transfer Season." Contracts are flying, and 2026 rosters are being finalized.

But behind the announcements, I see a worrying trend: Financial support is disappearing.

Too many elite athletes are being offered "product-only" deals or contracts that barely cover travel costs. Here is the reality: Athletes need financial stability to perform. They need it to create the content, the stories, and the "dream" that ultimately sells your products to consumers.

But... I also understand the Brands. Having worked on the brand side for 10 years, I know why the budgets dried up.

For too long, the industry settled for "Passive Sponsorship."
โŒ Brands sent boxes of gear and hoped for the best.
โŒ Athletes wore the logo but didn't tell the story.
โžก๏ธ Result: No measurable ROI. So, when budgets get tight, sponsorship is the first line cut.

We are in a vicious cycle. Brands don't pay โžก๏ธ Athletes can't produce value โžก๏ธ Brands see no ROI โžก๏ธ Brands pay even less.

Itโ€™s time to break the cycle. We need to restart the engine. Brands need to invest cash to fuel the ecosystem. But in return, Athletes (and managers) must deliver professional, rigorous, daily activation.

The era of "free stuff" is over. The era of Professional Partnership must begin.
Let's get back to work. ๐Ÿค
